Our clients can expect ethical standards and diligent research. We understand that going through a family's belongings can be difficult; we believe our expertise can not only eliminate this difficulty, but also lead to higher proceeds for our clients. PRICING: All items, new, used, collectible and antique, will be priced at an Estate Sale level. This price is below retail but above second hand. Our basis for pricing comes from the following: Reference books as guides, our knowledge, internet research and our actual selling experience throughout the years in business. We are also able to Ebay items. We do not inventory each and every item in your sale. ADVERTISING: Advertise in local town paper. I send out over 1250 e-mails letting people know about our sale. Place an E-Mail Ad on the Internet three days prior to the sale, our web site, Craig's List and put directional Red/ White & Blue Signs on nearby thoroughfares.
WHY HIRE AN ESTATE SALE COMPANY? Some people have experience dealing with antiques and collectibles, and are very qualified to conduct an estate sale on their own. However, without this knowledge, it is easy to either under price a valuable item, or over price a common item. Even worse, many people inadvertently throw away items of significant value, thinking that they are just "junk." We believe that our expertise most often leads to higher profits for our clients.
We provide professional staff for security and assistance during each sale. We also refer after sale services at owners expense that includes donation of unsold items and house cleaning to get the home "turn key ready” to be able to sell or rent. THE OWNER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: FEE AGREEMENT: My Fee paid by the Owners for services will be 1/3rd (33 1/3%) of the gross receipts paid immediately after the sale and will be taken from the sale proceeds. A cashiers check for the amount due the Owners will be sent out the Monday morning following the sale. CHEMICALS: We will try to sell garden chemicals / paint but what does not sell will be left at the home and is the owners responsibility.
AFTER SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, ALL ESTATE ITEMS UNDER OUR RESPONSIBILITY SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED OR SOLD WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION DURING THE LENGTH OF THIS CONTRACT. ALL (IF ANY) PRE-SALES WILL BE AT SARA’S DISCRETION. IT IS OUR EXPERIENCE THAT AN ESTATE SALE IS MOST SUCCESSFUL WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO RELY ON OUR OWN EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE TO MAKE DECISIONS CONCERNING THE ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION OF THE SALE. ANY ISSUES FORTHCOMING (IF AT ALL) CAN BE RESOLVED EASILY. THE BRIGHT SIDE IS THAT THERE SELDOM IS A PROBLEM, JUST A SUCCESSFUL SALE THAT MAKES US ALL HAPPY!
